IncThread is a purpose-built SaaS platform I founded to bridge critical workflow gaps within small-to-midsize screen printing and embroidery businesses. Built from real-world conversations with shop owners, the platform combines eCommerce, artwork proofing, order management, and automation into a cohesive, user-friendly system.
Mission:
Enable custom print shops to digitally transform operations without relying on expensive, outdated ERP systems. IncThread replaces manual processes with a streamlined, semi-automated platform tailored to real-world print shop pain points.
My Role:
As Founder and sole engineer, I led product ideation, system architecture, full-stack development, and deployment pipelines. Highlights include:
- Architected the platform’s core product engine, combining WooCommerce for eCommerce, custom PHP plugins for order workflows, and Python microservices for backend automation
- Developed a “Mockup Generator” feature using Fabric.js that lets customers or staff overlay and position artwork on product templates with support for variation-based previews
- Designed and implemented a custom quote workflow system that integrates order approvals, pricing logic, and Stripe payment triggers
- Built an S&S Activewear API integration to automatically populate products, sync inventory, and enable live garment ordering logic
- Authored scalable import and management tools using Python to handle products, mockups, and pricing data via REST API
- Deployed on a hardened Debian LAMP stack, with future plans for containerization and CDN-backed media handling
Business & Product Maturity:
Conducted live trials with multiple screen print shops to validate feature relevance and usability
Iterated quickly on feedback from internal users, shaping a roadmap with practical and scalable improvements
Actively pitching to early customers and exploring strategic funding options for v2 growth
